SVIMISA SPA is a mining company that operates in Sardinia since 1958 in the extraction, production and marketing of raw materials for the ceramic industry and refractory.

Currently its mining activity focuses in two layers, the Funtana Piroi Mine to Escalaplano (CA) and the Molino Falzu Mine in Ardara (SS).

In these two important Mining Concessions, authorised for cultivation until 2028, SVIMISA extracts and markets Clays, Feldspathic sands and Bentonite for ceramic bodies of technical porcelain and Enamel, Single firing and Monoporosa and multiple needs of Refractory industry.

SVIMISA extracts and handling raw materials with machines of last generation, pursues the constant updating of staff training and invests in modernization and efficiency of mineralurgici and operational infrastructure of mining sites.

Mining production controls and commercial mixtures are used daily by laboratories located in production sites and equipped with modern equipment for the execution of the main physical-chemical analysis.

With an experience of more than half a century, mining, SVIMISA strives constantly to the protection of the environment through defined and programmed stages of crop recovery in respect of the original morphology and future land use.

SVIMISA is certified since 1996 According to the law ISO 9001:2008 and in February 2021 has obtained the Certification ISO 45001:2018.
